These contractions result in twisting and repetitive movements. Sometimes they are painful.</p> <p>Dystonia can affect just one muscle, a group of muscles or all of your muscles. Symptoms can include <a href='http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/tremor.html'>tremors</a>, <a href='http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/voicedisorders.html'>voice problems</a> or a dragging foot.
