To investigate the relationship between the androgen receptor (AR), oestrogen receptor( ER) and progesterone receptor (PR) by assaying the distributions of these three receptors in the both benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH) and prostatic cancer (PCa) tissues, then to explore the difference of the effects of hormonal treatment between the AR positive and AR negative in PCa patients.
