Conventional chromosomal studies or fluorescent in situ hybridization takes days to diagnose fetal aneuploidies during amniocentesis. Here, we evaluated the value of mass spectrometry-based clinical proteomics analysis on amniotic fluid supernatant (AFS) as a rapid detection of fetal aneuploidies.
