The prolactin-releasing peptide receptor (PrRP; GRP10) (Marchese A et al, 1995) is expressed in the pituitary gland (Fujii R et al, 1999) and binds prolactin-releasing peptide (PrRP) (Hinuma S et al, 1998). PrRP is implicated in lactation, regulation of food intake and pain-signal processing.
