By E10.5, two ventral stripes of Tbx20 containing cells are continuous from r2 into the cervical spinal cord and expression is seen in two symmetrical patches of cell bodies in the mantle region of the ventral neural tube. At E11.5, expression follows the migration of motor neurons.
