Chronic Lymphoproliferative Disorder of NK-Cells

NCI: An Epstein-Barr negative disorder with a nonprogressive clinical course affecting predominantly adults and characterised by the proliferation of large granular lymphocytes with natural killer cell immunophenotype. The T-cell receptor genes are not rearranged and it is not clear whether this disorder is reactive or neoplastic. -- 2004,NCI: A type of leukemia in which large natural killer (NK) cells (a type of white blood cell) that contain granules (small particles) are found in the blood. It is a chronic disease that may last for a long time and get worse.
