UMD: Needles designed for particular procedures performed in the oral cavity, such as delivery of impression materials and tooth filling; they are also used in root canals and other endodontic and exodontic special procedures. Most of these needles are attached to hypodermic syringes, cartridge syringes, or other reusable and/or disposable syringes specifically designed for use in dentistry.
