CSP: new abnormal cartilage that grows by excessive cellular division and proliferation more rapidly than normal and continues to grow after the stimuli that initiated the new growth cease.,NCI: A benign or malignant neoplasm arising from soft tissue and bone. It is characterized by the presence of chondrocytes. Benign lesions are usually asymptomatic and discovered as incidental findings. Malignant lesions are usually painful.
