Malignant Giant Cell Tumor of Bone

NCI: A malignant neoplasm of bone comprised of osteoclast-like giant cells and mononuclear cells.,NCI: A high grade aggressive bone tumor, usually arising in the end of long bones. The tumor is composed of round or oval mononuclear cells, uniformly distributed osteoclast-like giant cells, and a sarcomatous spindle cell component. Clinical presentation includes pain and edema in the affected area.,NCI: A high grade sarcoma arising in a giant cell tumor (primary) or at the site of a previously documented giant cell tumor (secondary).
