Serous Surface Papillary Carcinoma

NCI: An invasive serous adenocarcinoma arising from the ovary. Cases with identical morphology have been described arising in the peritoneum, almost exclusively in women. Morphologically, it may be a well, moderately, or poorly differentiated neoplasm. It is characterized by a papillary growth pattern often associated with the presence of psammoma bodies.
