NCI: An aromatic hydrocarbon that consists of six fused rings and is produced by the incomplete combustion of organic matter. Dibenzo[a,i]pyrene is primarily found in gasoline exhaust, tobacco smoke and coal tar. Dibenzo[a,i]pyrene is reasonably anticipated to be a human carcinogen. (NCI05)
