MSH: A bacterium which is one of the etiologic agents of bacillary dysentery (DYSENTERY, BACILLARY) and sometimes of infantile gastroenteritis.,NCI: A species of facultatively anaerobic, Gram negative, rod shaped bacteria in the phylum Proteobacteria.
