MSH: A pediatric acute myeloid leukemia involving both myeloid and monocytoid precursors. At least 20% of non-erythroid cells are of monocytic origin.,NCI: An acute leukemia characterized by the proliferation of both neutrophil and monocyte precursors. Patients typically present with anemia, thrombocytopenia, fever and fatigue. This type of leukemia frequently responds to aggressive therapy. (WHO, 2001) -- 2003
