Female infertility can result from physical problems, hormone problems, and lifestyle or environmental factors.</p><p>Most cases of infertility in women result from problems with producing eggs. One problem is <a href='http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/prematureovarianfailure.html'>premature ovarian failure</a>, in which the ovaries stop functioning before natural menopause.
