UWDA: Subdivision of the lymphatic tree (organ) that is elongated and tubular, the lumen of which is continuous with the lumen of veins, directly or indirectly; it conveys lymph from organs and body parts to lymph nodes and veins; together with other lymphatic vessels and lymph nodes, it constitutes the lymphatic tree (organ).
