UMD: Devices that are used to check the performance of imaging equipment such as x-ray generators, x-ray tubes, TV chains, x-ray film processors, hard-copy cameras, film viewboxes, etc. QC devices will include kVp meters, timers, dosimeters, focal spot test tools, sensitometers, densitometers, collimator test tools, spatial resolution test patterns, video waveform monitors, etc.
