Sixty two patients having chronic circulatory disorders in visceral branches of the abdominal aorta were operated upon by the authors. An adequate circulation was restored as a result of reconstructive (44), conventionally reconstructive (14) and palliative (4) operations. A number of technics considerably facilitating these complicated reconstructive procedures are described: transaortic endarterectomy from the abdominal aorta, visceral branches and renal arteries: resection of the thoracoabdominal aorta followed by a plastic reconstruction of the celiac trunk ostium and others. In 47 patients (90.3%) a clinical effect was gained: the signs of ischemia of the digestive organs have disappeared.
