Segmental arterial stenosis on intracranial carotid, horizontal parts of the middle cerebral and anterior cerebral arteries are possible complications in purulent meningitis in infants. From a case of these stenosis in a 10 1/2 month old girl with a pneumococcal meningitis, the authors point out the angiographic signs of these stenosis, their pronostic value and the place of carotid angiography in the diagnosis of these stenosis.
