The correlation between age and length of femur, mandible and maxillary first incisor was investigated in human fetuses aged 5-10 months. A good correlation was found. These measurements could therefore assist in determining the progress of development of the human fetus and human fetal age, both in vivo and in vitro, when this is uncertain.
