A memory rehabilitation procedure is illustrated by a case study of a man with craniocerebral injury whose memory improved through practice of systematic approaches to remembering. The single-subject description involved tracking measures of several different cognitive abilities and demonstrated significant improvement in the patient's memory independent of changes in other nontreated cognitive abilities.
