It is shown on the basis of the authors' and literature data that the combination of light, immunofluorescent and electron microscopy is optimal for the diagnosis of glomerulonephritis and tubulo-interstitial nephritis. This complex of modern morphological methods made it possible to search for etiological markers of nephrological diseases, the determination of their morpho- and pathogenesis, performance of detailed differential diagnosis of certain morphological types of glomerulonephritis, elucidation of their nosological entity.
