An epidemiological study of ovarian cancer in the young under 20 years old in Israel during the years 1972-1976 are presented. During these 5 years 22 new cases were reported. Germ cell tumors accounted for 63.6% and the epithelial tumor for 23%. The incidence of this group was 2.2% of the incidence of all ovarian maligancies. The five years survival was 54.5%. The less malignant tumor was dysgerminoma. There was no difference of the incidence between the various ethnic groups in this population.
