86 cases of genital tuberculosis were evaluated retrospectively by clinical, anatomical, laparoscopic and HSG findings. The authors observed in 24 cases out of 86 (27.9%) unilateral simple ovarian cyst. They conclude that genital tuberculosis must be suspected and investigated when simple ovarian cyst has been found in infertile women.
