The aims of this study were to determine the incidence and clinical predictors of new-onset and recurrent late postoperative atrial fibrillation (POPAF) in a large cohort of patients who underwent cardiac rehabilitation programs (CRPs) after discharge from surgery units, and the association between late POPAF and cardiovascular morbidity and mortality in the medium term.
