Two limonoids, namely khayalenoids A (1) and B (2) with an unprecedented 8-oxa-tricyclo[4.3.2.0(2,7)]undecane motif in the nortriterpenoid core, were isolated from the stems of Khaya senegalensis. Their structures with absolute configuration were determined by spectroscopic data, X-ray crystallography, and CD analysis.
