A series of care scenarios were developed entitled 'eWARD' that complement traditional teaching methods employed in the education of nursing students. This article discusses the development of one of these scenarios, which was based on a stroke rehabilitation theme, in relation to its theoretical underpinnings as well as its implementation and evaluation.
