It allows for detailed assessment of the uterus, endometrium, and ovaries. However, there are times when the sonographic diagnosis is nonspecific. This review article details the use of magnetic resonance imaging for assessment of uterine duplication anomalies, adnexal and uterine masses, and for aiding in the assessment of pregnant patients with nonspecific sonographic findings in the pelvis.lld:pubmed
