This study was conducted to investigate whether( 18)F-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) uptake, quantified by positron emission tomography (PET), correlates with histological variables including tumour grade, cell proliferation, cell cycle control integrity and glucose metabolism in patients with bone and soft tissue sarcomas.
