Cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection is known to cause ulcerations, erosion and mucosal haemorrhage in the gastrointestinal tract. The aim of this study was to report the CMV findings in the gastroduodenal mucosa of kidney transplantation patients and immunocompetent controls.
