Sulofenur is a diarylsulfonylurea with demonstrated antitumor activity in patients with advanced epithelial ovarian cancer refractory to standard chemotherapy. The dose-limiting toxic effects observed in phase I clinical trials have been anemia and methemoglobinemia, resulting in cyanosis.
