Pathological hallmarks of Alzheimer's disease include cerebral beta-amyloid (Abeta) deposition, amyloid accumulation, and neuritic plaque formation. We aimed to investigate the hypothesis that molecular pathological findings associated with Alzheimer's disease overlap in the lens and brain.
