OBJECTIVE; Osteochondritis dissecans of the talar articular surface of the ankle joint has been well described. We report the imaging characteristics of osteochondritis dissecans of the tibial articular surface (tibial plafond). CONCLUSION: Osteochondritis dissecans of the tibial plafond is a rare condition that may not be detectable on radiography. Its radiologic findings are similar to those of osteochondritis dissecans located elsewhere in the body.
