In a tetranucleotide-DNA template complex containing a mismatch, almost no ligation products are formed. The ligation of a tandem octanucleotide-tetranucleotide-octanucleotide makes it possible to identify accurately any single nucleotide substitution in a tetranucleotide binding site. | lld:pubmed |
