The hyperdynamic circulation of cirrhosis has been related either to plasma volume expansion (increased preload) or peripheral arterial vasodilation (reduced afterload). The aim of this study was to evaluate cardiovascular function in patients with nonalcoholic cirrhosis by echocardiography.
