In this study, the effect of pre-operative douche giving to 31 patients with myoma of the uterus was observed. Group A was given douche daily for one day and group B was given douche daily for four days before operation. Through the bacterial culture of douche suab and observation after operation, there was no significant difference between group A and B (P > 0.05). The results estimated that douches before operation should be reduced.
