This article describes our experiences in establishing a visual medicine site on the Internet World Wide Web. The article discusses our goals and planning, how we set up the site, created Web documents and displays, and attracted a large initial Internet interest. The Internet may prove to be major vehicle for the dissemination of biocommunications in the very near future.
