A case of renal tuberculosis in a man when he was 23 years old is reported. He was treated with streptomycin and reported routinely for followup examinations. When the patient was 52 years old, 29 years after treatment, he had a positive urine culture from the remaining kidney. Triple drug therapy was administered and has been effective. The need for lifelong examination of patients with renal tuberculosis is justified.
