Pemphigus vegetans of the Hallopeau type was diagnosed in aged dog. Diagnosis was based on (a) history, (b) physical examination, (c) histopathologic examination of affected skin, and (d) response to therapy. Clinical response to immunosuppressive doses of prednisolone was excellent.
