Medical ethics belongs to medicine as ethics of the physician, the patient and of the environment. It depends on philosophy, theology, law, economy and society since their respective origins. Antique (cosmology and anthropology), medieval (transcendence) and modern (secularism) times have set their specific marks. The present is stimulated by the past and has in turn to find its proper answers to progress of modern medicine, new expectations and changing social structures alike.
