The histological features of eight cases of desmoplastic medulloblastoma were investigated and compared to classic medulloblastoma. The most benign histologic neoplasms belong to the group of desmoplastic medulloblastoma, characterized by low necrosis, low mitosis and light nuclear pleomorphism.
