FeS2 changes in Pyritum during igniting process were studied systematically by comparing Pyritum ignited under different conditions in terms of S content, Fe content, yielding ratio of ignited product and appearance features. Calcined Pyritum samples purchased from various parts of China were also compared in regard to their quality.
