Breast cancer developing during pregnancy or lactation is such an infrequent problem that, when it occurs, physicians are confronted with ethical and therapeutic challenges. Moreover, there are very few references to compare or discuss breast cancer in pregnant women in Taiwan. We hope that data from this review will add to our understanding of such difficult problem as well as help improve the treatment of our patients.
