1. Drawing interpretations need not be a wild, mystic speculation, but can be a rational way of gaining insight based on firm research. 2. Interpretations should be considered as suggestions open for change. 3. Interpretations can give important clues on how to engage a client in therapy. 4. Interpretations should be treated with care, and the client's confidentiality respected.
