A technique for repair of fossa navicularis and distal pendulous urethral strictures includes elevation of a ventral flap of penile skin, which is inverted and interposed into a distal urethrotomy. Epithelial strips created on the ventral penile skin and on the glans penis are sutured face-to-face permitting a directable urinary stream and cosmetically fine result. Results of a personal series of 7 patients are uniformly good.
