Students have access to a networked, Macintosh-based imaging laboratory where they can digitally capture, enhance, analyse, and media output microscope originated images. By increasing the access to image information, students are able to assume a more active inquiry mode in a microscope-based course. The technology allowed students to increase intellectual sharing among themselves and to leave 'digital legacies' for future classes. | lld:pubmed |
