A 16-year-old girl is described with elastosis perforans serpiginosa occurring within a lesion of morphea. Histologic examination showed a definite relationship between the abnormal elastic fibers in the perforation and in foci of surrounding morphea. Although the concurrence of these conditions may be coincidental, we believe that this case represents perforating morphea, a secondary form of elastosis perforans serpiginosa.
