Forty six confirmed cases of polyneuritis were treated in a double-blind survey for 4 to 5 months. The results were evaluated in terms of clinical examinations and electrophysiological tests. There was a clearly significant difference in favour of isaxonin. Tolerance was good, in particular insofar as the liver was concerned. The dosage of 1175 to 1500 mg/day for adults seemed adequate.
