The influence of macromolecules on the formation of particle aggregates and coagulation networks has been studied by electron microscopy. Specimen preparation was carried out with the technique and device developed by Menold et al. [1], termed drop-freeze-fracture. Method and results are briefly shown, advantages and problems are mentioned.
