Fifty-three patients who had undergone hair transplantation over a six year period were queried as to their satisfaction with this operative procedure. Approximately 90 percent of the patients were pleased with the results. The limitations of this procedure had been stressed in the initial interview and served to select a high proportion of pleased patients.
