The number of leucocytes, neutrophils and eosinophils was determined during one year observation in 34 rabbits after an infection with Trichinella spiralis in the doses of 15,000, 20,000 and 30,000 larvae. Granulocyte reactions were already observed on the third day after the infection, they lasted at least for 3 months and depended on the intensity of the infection.
